Mercedes-Benz Stadium - concert inside a metal drum

Everything was perfect except the sound. We were in section 233 row 1 and the echo / reverberation of the bass & drum ruined the experience. We are huge Chris Stapleton fans and had been waiting years to see him so we jumped on the opportunity to see him at ATLive along with Dwight Yoakum and Miranda Lambert. Dwight Yoakum's sound was the worst, couldn't understand anything. Miranda was a little better but no amount of sound wizardry could overcome the acoustic nightmare of Mercedes-Benz Stadium. We saw Luke Combs at Mercedes-Benz Stadium and didn't have this issue but we were sitting at a lower level (section 117 / row 10) facing the stage so there are some sweet spots in the stadium for good acoustics but I have no idea what that map looks like. I spent around $1,000.00 for 2 tickets and hotel, travel etc for this experience. I still LOVE Chris Stapleton and he did a fantastic show it's just unfortunate that the stadium ruined his show for those of us in section 233. Chris I will see you again but I will never see another concert at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Chris was great! The crowd… needs improvement

Chris was fantastic, as always. However this venue tends to over serve many in the audience… so many fights broke out that Chris’s wife Morgane walked off the stage. It was an embarrassment to those of us who came to truly enjoy the music and the show, and an embarrassment to many of us New Mexicans in general. I really hope the venue makes some changes and stops over serving… and maybe police those in the parking lot who might “pre game.” As a frequent concert goer, this seems to have gotten worse after Covid. I really hope that Chris does come back, but would understand if he chooses not to.
